The routes run through narrow gorges, advancing over streams on ladders, chains and wooden walkways. In some sections you climb directly through the water.
Are the trails one-way?
Yes. Most gorge passages may only be climbed upward, since two-way traffic on the ladders is unsafe. The rule applies throughout the park.
When is the ice cave in the park open?
The UNESCO-listed Dobšinská Ice Cave is open only from May to September. Its ice reaches 26 m thick in places.
