Las Vegas really started here: the city's first casino license was issued on this street in 1931 while the Strip was still desert. The Viva Vision canopy overhead is 460 meters long, 27 meters high, and holds roughly 49 million LEDs — during shows street signs are dimmed so the ceiling reads clearly. Vegas Vic, the neon cowboy from 1951, still stands. A zipline runs just below the canopy so you can fly over the street.
