Porto Montenegro
Ideal: Modern marina architecture, waterfront walks and evening atmosphere
Porto Montenegro is a contemporary marina and waterfront district created through the redevelopment of a former naval base in Tivat. Its pedestrian promenade, harbour views, restaurants, shops and maritime-heritage displays present a modern side of the Bay of Kotor. Unlike historic Kotor or Perast, the experience here centres on contemporary waterfront planning and marina life. Visitors should distinguish public promenades from private pontoons and vessel areas.
