One World Observatory

The building's height of 541 meters was no accident: at 1,776 feet it nods to the year of the Declaration of Independence. It is the tallest structure in the Western Hemisphere. The elevator to the observation floors takes 47 seconds, with wall screens showing how the Manhattan skyline evolved from the 1500s to today in fast-forward. The tower was built on the site of the World Trade Center destroyed on September 11 and opened in 2014.
