Hollywood Walk of Fame

Ideal: Ideal for film fans, pop culture lovers, and a classic Los Angeles route.

It began in 1960 and today more than 2,700 stars line 2.1 kilometers of sidewalk across five categories: film, television, music, radio, and theater. A star is not just about fame: the nominee or supporting production company must pay roughly $75,000 in sponsorship fees and agree to attend the ceremony. Next door, the 1927 Chinese Theatre courtyard still holds hand and footprints pressed into wet cement.
