How to check in online, what does not change?

Online check-in allows you to get your boarding pass early; It does not eliminate security, passport and baggage delivery times.

Phone and passport along with travel plan

Online check-in is the process of digitally confirming to the airline that you will fly and obtaining a boarding pass. Opening and closing times vary by airline, route and ticket type. Use the link in your flight's email or the airline's official app.

It is not right to go to the airport with less share just because the transaction is completed. Checked baggage, document control, security and international passport processes continue.

Step by step online check-in

  1. Open the airline's official website or app.
  2. Find the flight by booking code and last name.
  3. Enter passenger and travel document information as in the document.
  4. Check the total before confirming seat and additional service fees.
  5. Add the boarding pass to the app and keep the offline copy.

What if there is luggage?

If you have checked baggage, you need to go to the baggage claim counter. If you are flying with carry-on luggage only and the airline does not require additional document checks, you can proceed directly to security. On some international lines, even if you have a digital boarding pass, you may be required to visit the counter for passport or visa control.

If the boarding pass is not visible

  • Document control may be carried out at the airport.
  • The airport may not accept digital cards.
  • There may have been operational changes in the flight.
  • There may be an app session or connection issue.

Seat selection and additional fees

The seat map shown during online check-in does not mean free selection. Read paid seat, priority boarding and baggage offers separately. The assigned seat may change later due to the operation.

Frequently asked questions

If I checked in online, how many hours before should I arrive?

Online check-in only reduces some of the counter process. Maintain your normal time allowance based on airport, route, baggage and security density.

I checked in online, where do I leave the luggage?

Take it to the airline's baggage claim or check-in desk. Closing time may be earlier than boarding time.
