Stevie Wonder is an American singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Saginaw, Michigan, who signed to Motown at the age of 11. Blind since shortly after birth, he became one of the most influential musicians in popular music, blending soul, funk, R&B, pop and jazz.
His run of albums in the 1970s, from Talking Book and Innervisions to Songs in the Key of Life, is considered one of the greatest in music history. His concerts feature a large band with horns and backing vocalists, with Wonder leading from keyboards and harmonica.
