Built by James Murphy around New York's DFA scene, LCD Soundsystem emerged with Losing My Edge and joined punk-band energy to disco, house and analogue electronics. After the 2011 Madison Square Garden farewell documented as The Long Goodbye, the group announced its return in 2015 and began a new chapter with American Dream.
